If I had seen this card in the gallery, I would never in a million years have thought I made that background for Eunice and George.
All my thanks go to Elizabeth for the BRILLIANT tutorial here at SCS....check it out here .
I didn't have all the correct Copic or SN markers so I added a few Prismacolour pencils to the grass.
The frame looks a dit dodgy. I bought what I thought was a frame die set, turns out they are just rectangles...oh well, I guess that's what a craft knife and ruler are for LOL.
Edit: I forgot to mention that Eunice and George were fussy cut and placed on the card. I only adhered them at their feet and centre of their bodies. It kinda gives a 3D feel, without being bulky. I also gently dragged a walnut stained foam blending tool over them and also over the background.
Thanks so much for looking.

ADORABLE, Susie!!! You are SO good about telling step-by-step how you create your little masterpiece. Love the creatures all bundled up for winter on the green grass of summer. Too funny!

I wonder why I did not get an email about this card! Grrrr, makes me mad! I love your cards Susie and wouldn't miss them for the world! These little owls are so cute and the love your frame and bg! PS, I use rectangle dies for frames all the time. Cute your card stock the size you want then use a smaller rectangle to make a window...instant frame!
This card is adorable!
