I used toothpicks and skewer leftovers from yesterday 's party with friends to make the roof for my birdhouse.
I layered them on Aslan ( 2 sided sticky paper). I pierced a few rows of holes, and stitched them by hand.
Cut it into a triangle and added it to the folded card.
The walls of my birdhouse are dry embossed with a CB "wood" embossing folder and sponged with Distress Ink, as are the die cut Ivy's from Marianne Design ( LR 0206) on the roof walls and beneath the large bird.
I also used the woodland branches and Holly vines die cuts from MemoryBox to decorate the roof.
The hole in the wall is made with a circle punch from SU.
The image is from a decoupage sheet from Precious Marieke (CD10617) cut by hand into several layers.
The large bird is sitting on the leaves beside the hole. A little bird on the roof and the nest are placed inside the card..
I added 2 magnets to sturdy the card.
