Hello, I don't like one layer cards (before you say anything...everyone has personal preferences...different NOT wrong). But I have been gone for a couple Saturdays and couldn't do the challenge so I thought I would look at the board Audrie found for us. I found a few that I liked and that added die cuts to it. One is this one and another card I got inspiration from is this one
I made my stencil and masked off the edges then sponged blue, purple and pink onto the stencil. I removed the stencil and stamped my sentiment (this is when somehow I got a bit of ink on the card fold so had to cover it with this thin silver sticker border from Elizabeth Craft Designs). After that I cut out 4 colors of purple blossoms for my hyacinth and started building up my flower like Susan (Susan's Garden) showed us last weekend at the stamp escape.
I added baubles as drops of rain I suppose since it is raining outside.
Thanks for looking!!

Well it is still one layer with a flower on it! And it is beautiful! I don't know if I could be dedicated enough to build up a flower with so many tiny pieces!
