This is the card I made for this week's teapot party. Our cards are going to Paulina, who could use some cheer following unexpected surgery. Paulina loves bright colors, so maybe this will bring a smile.
The image was stamped with VersaMark, heat embossed with turquoise ep and colored with Gelly Roll Stardust pens. It was trimmed and double- matted with glitter cs. I added white gel pen accents and applied Glossy Accents to the flower centers.
The background piece was stamped with the sentiment using VersaMark and heat embossed with clear ep. I attached the focal image and trimmed the background piece to the size I wanted - so much easier than trying to figure out measurements and cut beforehand! I rounded the corners and attached it to the card base, which was also trimmed to size on the right side, and rounded those corners also.
I die cut the word "awesome" from matching glitter paper and stacked it with die cuts from 110lb cs. This was attached with Scotch quick dry liquid adhesive.
As always, thanks for looking!

Fabulous. Love the glitter and the bright colors. This will surely bring a smile and bring cheer. I like the script "awesome" and the other part of the sentiment on the side. Very nicely done. TFS

Those fun flowers would cheer anybody up. The turquoise embossing is fabulous - gives it so much lighter a feel than black, but still a clearly defined outline. I do love the Sakura pens - they were one of my very early crafting purchases even before I was really making cards!!
