To be honest, I was going to pass on today's challenge, but as I sat down with my morning newspaper, this story/picture of "Spook" the Lion who keeps escaping captivity in South Africa caught my attention. I took it as a "sign" that I should do the challenge. I coated the newspaper photo with Mod Podge in hopes of deepening the colors.

How cool that the newspaper article included a color picture to use in such a creative way for today's challenge! The additional stamping looks awesome, too!

How fun this is for a birthday......does anyone lie about their age any more? I have a friend who wouldn't give her age until she was 62 and could ride on the MTA for free!!!

Love the way you used the newspaper image! And great idea to mute it with mod podge. You ended up with a beautiful card. Now I'm going off to look up the story about the lion!
