I have to admit to a bit of cheating today.. I had this card made, but had never uploaded it to SCS and today seemed to be the perfect day. It is made in the style of this egg from the Pinterest Board.
I LOVE decorated eggs. When my eyes were working correctly, I did Polish and Ukrainian egg decorating. Here is a link to a picture showing some of my eggs. The display of these eggs were part of our Easter traditions. I was lucky enough to travel to Poland years ago and have some painted eggs from there. Here is a link to my Pinterest board of eggs , if you haven't seen enough on the original site. Eggs are truly an international art form.
Thanks for looking.

I, too, knew which eggs had inspired you from the Pinterest Board, Joanne, this is just fabulous! I hopped over to your blog and your painted eggs are so, so beautiful - what a wonderful thing to do at Easter!

This looks EXACTLY like a Ukrainian Easter egg. I had a friend years and years (and years....lol) ago you made me some....I still have them of course and they have always just fascinated me. TFS your eggs (lovely) and your Pinterest board!
