I'll admit, daffys are not my favorite flower. The sunny color is pretty, but...I don't know..just one of those things. So I don't have a lot of daffy images but there are some around this birdbath. (well, they could be lilies, but today they are daffys
I already had the front piece w/ the stitched circle cut out so I stamped the little bird bath on a separate piece, colored it, masked it, then sponged the yellow from the top & blue from the bottom. After removing the mask, I over stamped it w/ Versafine (it was still in my Misti) then placed the frame around it.
For the extra little birds, I did a mirror image by stamping it onto acrylic then stamping the acrylic to the paper. After I colored them, I went over the left facing one w/ a Micron pen to sharpen the lines then I fussy cut them both. Again, I already had the die cut birthday & lower section so I sponged them and left the lower section of it in place. 2 of the clouds I added are from the Hot Air Balloon die & the large one is another die cut.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Beautifully designed card, Julie. The ombre of the sky matches the ombre of your sentiment. The bird bath and lilies is a sweet image and colored beautifully.
This is incredible! Totally love it! The little birds, the clouds, the way you colored your sentiment, the framing ... just every little inch of this is terrific! Going to my faves!

So wonderful! Like others before me have said - you add the most precious little extras that really make the card special. I think embedding the 'birthday' into just the bottom portion of the diecut base is so clever and very effective. So I'm on my way to your blog for more info! TFS - this is My Favorites.
