k*i*s*s*i*n*g...congratulations, Michele G on being selected Featured Stamper on this day we celebrate love. I am very pleased to get to know you with a stroll through your gallery. There are several cards I want to case. However First Dance Song Lyrics Anniversary Card captured my creative muse. I loved Michele made the tree with torn paper containing her daughter and son-in-law's wedding vows. Also the little hearts hanging from the tree with their initials. The date and occasion fit perfectly in small panels toward the bottom of the card. Even the color of the background was a memory. Awesome, wonderful, clever, this is art of the HE{art}.
My card also honors memories for my dear husband of 29 years today. Romantic, that he is! He told me early on in our dating that we would be married on Valentine's day the next year...I put that under the lips #86. The Recollections by Micheal's tree stamp was inked with Archival Sepia onto 140 cold press watercolor paper. After it was dry, I used TH DI markers in several shades of brown along with a sprinkling of Brown Brushos...I tell you, that stuff is MAGIC...watercolorist I am NOT! I used a hand carved arrow across the heart, did you notice the point is actually a heart. Our initials are stamped Ma Vinci's Reliquary alpha set 'Hopscotch'. The metal lips were part of the Recollections Valentines' do-dads.
Michele, I was so very inspired by your wonderfully personal anniversary. Thank you. And enjoy the cards made for your FS gallery.
This card is also going into the IC532:100 Brilliant Color Combinations. #46 Chocolatey Browns hits all
the woody hues in my card. Thanks again, Audrie for this amazing site.
And to my sweet, romantic husband...there are no years of the last 29 I'd not do~over. You have filled my life with such joy...let's get older together.
