Our challenge today (WT570) is to use the theme "hop, skip, or jump". I love this little frog from Penny Black and so decided to make a valentine for my oldest daughter. I masked the frog stamp so that I only got the image of the frog (not the flower he is holding), and he is colored with copics. I stamped his hand again on a separate piece of cs, so I could fussy cut it and attach it to the top of the heart so it looks like he is holding the heart. 2 hearts are die cut from cs, and one from pp, and the pp heart is sponged on the edges with 2 shades or red distress inks and then the sentiment is stamped in black. The 3 hearts are glued together for some additional depth. Sponged an additional piece of white cs and punched the smaller hearts from that. The small hearts were sprayed with sparkle shimmer mist have stickles added for even more sparkle. Die cut the frog panel and then attached to the pp on my card front. This also works for our challenge to make a CAS valentine with a heart (CAS363).
*For some reason the sentiment looks slightly blurry but IRL it is fine (and on the pic on my computer). I have had this problem before when I have a black sentiment on a saturated color. Any suggestions for how to get the photo better would be appreciated!
