This is my fourth try (second stencil) at today's technique challenge -- dry embossing with stencils. I finally ran it through my Cuttlebug using two pieces of cardboard and a piece of cardstock in addition to the A plate, two B plates, and a rubber shim. And it's still hard to see the embossing! But be assured, it is definitely there. It's also for the CAS challenge of sweet treats (I'm trying, with mixed results, to eat healthy -- thus the apple) and a new Alphabet challenge I found yesterday. A is for Apple!

Lois, you did a great job with the dry embossing with a stencil. I can see the embossing well. I really like the scribbling die cut behind your cute apple!

I love that eye catching apple! You've coloured so wonderfully! Great work with the embossing too. I can definitely see it. It makes a great subtle background for your focal point!
