I am your hostess this week and I have chosen Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Pretty in Pink and for dessert: your favorite green. I made 2 cards this week - one CAS, and one a bit busier.
For this one, on a panel the size of my cover plate, I sponged the inks and then splattered with diluted inks of the same color. Then I splattered diluted white acrylic paint and sprayed the panel with shimmer spritz for a lovley sparkle. Attached this to the card front, stamped and die cut the birds and sentiment flag. Die cut the cover plate, stamped the tree lines on the birch trees and then attached to card front with dimensional tape. Finally I attached the birds and sentiment strip. Glad to be able to use this set for more than just winter cards - I think it works!

How beautiful, and definitely not just for Winter. I think you could use it all year if you just add a few leaves. Thanks for beautiful colors today.

Love your spring take on the birds in the birch trees - this card just sings the word "spring"! The sponged background you created is gorgeous, made more wonderful with the water spots and splats of white. Love everything about this card! TFS
