Vicki is our hostess this week and she chosen silver, gold and black - desert is New Year’s Eve. I made 2 cards and this one is very simple – die cut the snowflakes from glitter paper, stamp sentiment, assemble with sparkly gold dots and a black enamel dot. Mat the panel with more glimmer paper. *One tip I learned from someone is that when you are going to mat with a large panel, die cut a smaller rectangle from it first, so that you can use that chunk of cs for a different project – I hated to use all that glitter paper for my mat, so that way I feel better about using it! Come and join in the challenge – you may be our next favorite!!

Wonderful use of the colors. I like the simplicity; it's striking. Your snowflakes are gorgeous! Love the sparkle, glitz and glimmer. Thanks for sharing the clever tip about the mat. I've often wondered if anyone did that. You've inspired me to do a little paper saving, too! Beautiful card. TFS
