Peggy chose beautiful colors this week - water melon wonder, tip top taupe, and chocolate chip with die cuts or punches for desert. Some cards just come together so easily. No matter what you do it just gets better. This was not one of those cards. I have quite a collection of melon, taupe, and brown discarded parts. Just before I jumped off the nearest cliff, this card finally came together. Between the stress inducing trip to Costco ((hint- do not go to Costco the weekend before Thanksgiving), followed by an even more poorly planned trip to Walmart (definitely not the place to go from November until after Christmas), followed by this uncorporative card, I am in need of a trip to a tropical island. It has been fun being a guest designer with this great CC team....come play along with these terrific colors.

Love, love this card.....the coloring, and the burst technique really adds flair to this beautiful card. I'm glad you keep humor to get through the holidays. Remember how easy it was when we still believed in Santa Claus! Fav'd tfs

Ah, Francie, what a stunning card! I love all the tiny pearls placed so perfectly, and the pine needles and berries. Thanks for guest designing with us this month. We've loved having you with us!

I wish we could both go to that tropical island for a holiday and to meet up! But your card did come together in the end and looks so beautifully Christmassy and festive. I am still loving what you are doing with the gold swirls, and you know I always love your little foliage sprays.
The only time I was in the US was over Thanksgiving; since my mother only got out of hospital the day before, I sure do have vivid memories of how crowded the shops were, and I bet they are worse now than they were back then. Blah, I hate shopping and crowded shopping is even worse. Have a lovely Thanksgiving!!

I don't know... if this is how you stamp when you're stressed... I'm going to have to encourage you to remain stressed. HA! (at least for our sake ;) )

No matter the trials and tribulations, this card turned out BEAUTIFULLY! I love how you did the bells inside the cutaway, and all the layers are wonderful. The gold flourish and sparkly greenery are a terrific embellishment.
No need for a tropical island - just come to Texas and I'll serve you jalapeno margaritas - with an umbrella, if you like!

This is wonderful, Francie! I hear you...nothing is working for me this week..so I'm getting zilch done. And w/ 3 releases, I'm going over that cliff w/ you! I have so many fails on my desk, I can't even see straight.

What a stunning card! Just shows you have great perseverance to come up with this gorgeous result after enduring shopping insanity and previous tries at it!! Great job!

Oh, Francie, this is gorgeous, and I just love the "burst out" technique with the Christmas bells so beautifully colored! Wow, you've really shined for the CC Team, and I know they've enjoyed having you! I love this card with the embellishments, and it's stunning. Now, about your trips to these stores at this time of year - NOT! Haha! Seriously, we live in South Florida, and about the beginning of November they start coming down here - at first in dribbles and then in droves! We just keep on hoping they bring more and more money! Haha! But we stay away from certain stores that are extra busy. So sorry you hit them at a bad time. But now I hope you can rest a bit. Hope you can do more online shopping like I do. I hardly do anything at a real store anymore. Sure helps. Sending hugs, sweet friend, and thanks for delighting us with your amazing and vibrantly colored cards - they are fabulous!
