Hello, sweet friends! Two cards this month - wow! That's good for me! I think I am starting to feel better, so I am grateful that this new medication is starting to work! Well, one thing that helps me keep going is getting to play with the Power Poppy digis, and what a fun one for the brand new Instant Garden release. It sure had me singing the "Twelve Days of Christmas" and getting into the Christmas spirit. I used the main image without the words on the little teapot, and colored it up allowing room for the sentiment from a clear Christmas stamp (Cozy Cupfuls). After coloring the image, it just seemed to be missing something, so I decided to use BG70 to color in the background while it was still in the die. (I saw some beautiful images that were artwork that inspired me to add a background color.) I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment, used my gold Krylon pen to gild the edges, matted it with a small scalloped red border, and adhered it to the white card base. And, voila, it was done. This will be an easy card to mail (one stamp), and I will make more of these. I will definitely enjoy making more cards with this set and will enjoy using some of the other sentiments and other main image.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a great day. Stop by my blog for more details. Hugs!

In addition to going right into my favs, Cheryl, I pinned this to my board for great copic coloring....I need to spend a little time in your gallery where all of your cards belong on this board. The colored bg is lovely, although I doubt I would ver have the patience to color my bg. The highlighs on the teapot, pears, and birds are exceptional. I am so glad to hear you are feeling a little better, sweet friend.

Oh, Ha! I thought I commented on this but I think it wa on your blog!!! Goodness, I get mixed up sometimes!
I love this image and love your coloring of it too Cheryl! The pears and pot are so brilliantly highlighted! I love the simple framing too because it doesn't compete with the image that has a lot going on in it.
Beautiful!
