This is my sample card for this week's WTUI challenge.
You can find out what the challenge is all about here: WT557 ~ Ways to...Communicate .
It's also for Frances' challenge over at CCEE Stampers. She tells us that the 10th November is Sesame Street Day, this year celebrates 46 years since the show started. We were to create a card inspired by the show.
Well, I had a deprived childhood! No, actually I didn't, not at all - but we didn't have TV till I was about 14, and while the Cookie Monster and Big Bird have crossed my horizon, I really have no familiarity at all with them. So I was glad Frances offered expanded options such as letters of the alphabet or colours.
I have T which is Textured, Three mice Typing Thanks on a Typewriter, and Three black gems.
Image stamped on Bristol Board and coloured with Polychromos pencils. It's matted on black, and I used some old-fashioned feeling Echo Park paper as the base layer, which I found when I was looking for the typewriter letter stickers. I used an MFT alpha set to stamp the typewritten thanks on the image panel.

Sabrina this is so darling and what a great way to add that large T to the card. The type written stickers are so perfect for this card too. Super fun challenge and I was thankful I needed to get in gear to get this challenge done. Thank you for a great challenge.

How cute, Sabrina! I love your chubby little typewriter mice. Well...I still remember the fun songs on Sesame St..."Conjunction Junction, what's your function?" Great..now I'll be hearing it all day, lol.

I love the way these happy-go-lucky mice are dancing and pouncing on the typewriter keys! I think my computer mice must be the grandchildren of yours : )

I remember using this kind of typewriter in my typing class...I was horrible at it because I didn't press the keys hard enough!! Love how you embossed the big "T"!!
