This is for the IC512 - Audrie had us go to an Etsy store: Osnat Fine Art Store. I was inspired by the right panel of the three from the Blossom Painting.
I had been playing with my Brushos making various backgrounds and I had this green/blue panel already made. I had also laid a Heidi Swapp butterflies stencil and dabbed a baby wipe over the open butterfly areas which removes some of the color - you can vaguely see the butterflies in the background. When I saw this inspiration piece I thought of these Rubbernecker flowers. I used the outline part of the 2 step flowers and then used the purple Brusho powder mixed with a little water to paint the petals in. I used a Sharpie white paint pen for the highlights. The sentiment is a part of a Rubbernecker stamp that I colored with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker and stamped directly onto the Kraft card base. I drew two lines with the marker and a T-ruler.

Your purple flowers are so luminous against that gorgeous green-blue! And framing them black against Kraft was an inspired choice! Love the large, weathered sentiment.
