A wonderful "wide open" sketch from Carey. She mentioned "modern", but I went on a more old-fashioned path. Using the colors from yesterday's CC, I watercolored my image....drawing in the "swoop" to be part of the bg landscape.

I'm in Awe of what you came up with, Sallie! A SPECTACULAR country scene on the hillside! Gorgeousness to the max, I might add! Where I now live I see these scenes all the time. I love when a farmer has a beautiful red barn that has been taken care of.

Love the old barn, nestled in the 'swoop' of your landscape, Sallie - glad you kept it in the colors from the CC!! The distressing on the edges makes it all the warmer of a scene!
