I did the metal foil tape technique. I first applied some small wooden Prima houses to a cardstock strip and followed with a couple of different border tapes and some drywall tape. I applied the metal tape over that and went over it with a stylus and bone folder. Then I painted on black acrylic paint, wiped off, and applied some Inka gold in copper and wiped that. The bg for the kids is some Red Lead artisan ink rubbed on glossy paper. I doodled around the edge (this month's theme...dots and doodles). That's about it...I'm off later this morning to our little Como Zoo with Finn..got to get in those last picnics, etc before school starts next week ;)

Lots of us thinking the same kind of metal work!! Love your little houses and what a great idea to use those little wooden embellishments for. I have a bunch and kind of just look at them! LOL! This is really fun and I love your sentiment!
