Lisa (Shoe Girl) had me scrabbling for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge, to be inspired by Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra.
The hieroglyphic paper has been in my stash forever -- it's from a grab bag of papers I bought from Club Stamp/Scrap ages ago. Turns out I have 4 pieces (2 red, two this color) that had never been cut -- guess I need a few more Cleopatra challenges.
The image is an Inkadinkadoo one I don't think I've ever used before. Yes, I think that scene looks more Greek than Egyptian, but it was the closest I had. And it did remind me a little of the scene with all the women at the start of the video Lisa linked to.
I always think of blue and gold when I think of ancient Egypt, so I brought those colors in through the embellishments.
