This is my sample card for the sketch challenge featuring this pretty tilted panel sketch from Cathy. I'm thinking of my mom who's having a hard time dealing with the effects of her brain metastasis. She's had the tumor removed, but is still dealing with the symptoms it has caused mainly memory issues. So hard for her. She's a poppy lover so I went with my poppy image over three of my panels. I started by laying out my tilted panels and stamped over them all in my MISTI. I then pulled off the layers and stamped again. I then colored with my markers after trying out painting them at first. After I had the colors as I wanted, I replaced the layers then I masked over the poppies and sponged in Turquoise. I then stamped the script over the layers together. I sponged along the edges of the Mossy panel and stamped the sentiment in black. I added a strip of black to the inside of the card. I'll try to get this one right in the mail to my mom and am looking forward to visiting with her next week.
*As I'm looking at this closer I see I goofed the slant of my image panels when I laid it onto my card~sorry!
