FS434 - is the fantastic gallery of Lizzie Walker aka Veritycard - well I had to play along because she is a fantastic inspiration on the HFC web site. I love her cards and love her HFC inspirations. I chose this fantastic card: Happy Birthday by Veritycards at Splitcoaststampers.
I changed it to a Christmas theme. I used a spellbinders die cut, cut the frame then cut a decorative oval frame in red. Then I cut a white frame and to get it to stand out a bit I sponged green around the edges. I cut the memory box ornament and mounted. I used the old poinsettia flowers from HFC and put them on the top and bottom. Finally I finished it off in pearls. The leaves are cut out of olive and I added some extra green sponging to give a two tone color to them.
Thanks for looking!

What a beautiful Christmas card! I think the light red on the poinsettias really makes for a non-traditional look - but it really looks pretty!

Ha! I know just what challenge this was for as soon as I saw it! Veritycard has an amazing gallery does't she? Your card is gorgeous Lisa! I love those beautiful poinsettias and the open lattice framing around them. This card is for the A-list recipient for sure! :-)
