For the Inspiration Challenge, I was inspired by THISlinen. I love patriotic colors & nautical themes!
For my seafaring card, after stamping & coloring the sailboat, I used the two sizes of circle dies to cut it & my out of the box technique to keep from cutting off the mast. After edging the sailboat circle w/ a black marker, I cut a white circle to put behind it & a larger circle out of the same dp I used for the largest pennant. The bg panels came about because I had less than a full sheet of the two large strips so I added a narrow piece of the starry dp between the two & attached them to a large white panel I die cut using the largest die of the Flourished Star Pattern set. A smaller pennant, some die cut stars & the compass rose were added to finish.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups, Copic colors & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff
