WT528 - This week's challenge is all about the inners....inside of the card, and how we finish our envelopes.
SC537 - This weeks sketch challenge.
Baby Bella was stamped and colored with copics and stickels added to give her some shine. The pink and white flowers are hand made the white rose was bought. The card is a Z fold When folded Bella covers the inside. The inside has a DP then a doily then the white for the sentiment. Then the card closes with a ribbon and the flowers on the inside can be seen on the outside too when opened or closed. Two additional flowers were made for the envelope to match Bella's flower. and the envelope flap has a piece of the same DP. The difficulty is higher on this due to the creation of the very tiny flowers and getting everything to line up correctly when opened or closed.
I do have to say a small story about this card. This card took nearly a full day to put together and I am very glad this was not for the tortoise or hare challenge. My DH did not want me to get 2nd degree burns again making tiny flowers. So he went to the store and I put the small pink/white flowers together while he was gone. He came home with 7 packages of small flowers for me after I had put together the 4 pink and white so I added the small white flower to the card because he went out of his way for me. Sorry ladies, he has no brothers and I am keeping him.
Thanks for looking. I look forward to seeing your cards this week.

Aw, what a sweet story you have to tell as well as a darling card to share, Lisa. There is so much detail in it, no wonder it was a tortoise card!! It's sure to be treasured.

Precious, delicate and totally AWESOME!!! Your copic coloring is most impressive and all the special touches like the delicate paper doily and the lush flowers, lift this creation to another level....and the z-fold card base is perfect for this. Love everything about it. Masterfully done! TFS
This card awesome on so many levels...not sure how you managed to line it up so cleanly when closed, and the image is expertly coloured! Now, let me confirm. Your DH ventured into a craft store? He's a keeper for sure! My DH comes into my craft room...oops, forgot I have renamed it as a 'multi purpose' room to accommodate office functions. Anyways...he comes into our 'multi purpose' room, usually shakes his head and says "I don't get it, I just don't get it".
