TWO weeks in a row I used this same stamp setÂ…..but it's because i love it so much!! I made another shabby chic card, so I may upload that one as well. If I do you can tell me which one you like better. I love this style. The QUEEN of this style is my daughter in law Jenna Barber. She has been very busy working full time and taking care of her sweet girls so hasn't done as much stamping, but when she does, she OWNS this style. It just comes natural to her. I have to work a little harder at it then just doing a nice jewel toned card with bolder colors, but I am always happy with the shabby chic outcome when I am done. Big old UTI last week, big old TOOTHACHE this week. Gonna go to bed without doing comments tonite- will return tomorrow for commentingÂ….I am nursing a HUGE toothache - and have an appt for the dreaded ROOT CANAL on Thursday. My mom is in the hospital and we spent the better part of the weekend in ER with her, with pneumonia. I could go on, but I will spare you. Everybody has troubles. I'll just thank God they aren't bigger. ;)Life is fun. The first hundred years are the hardest. Happy Tuesday everyone!

Oh, Karen, if it isn't one thing, it's another. I hope your tooth eases up a bit until the dreaded root canal, and also am sending good vibes for your sweet mom. Meanwhile, I love this card, and as previously stated, love this challenge! Very pretty!

I think both of your cards are stunning Karen - beautifully done. I hope your Mother is soon on the mend and that your tooth ache stops soon. Take care Karen, tfs
Outstanding card, Karen! The light touch of stenciling, behind those gorgeous flowers is perfect, as are all the other elements you brought together! Your shabby creation is just wonderful and I LOVE today's colors!

A beautiful card, Karen...and even a lovelier tribute to your DIL.(Tell her we miss her here on SCS) Your card is pure shabby chic with the distressed edges, crinkly ribbon and touches of pearls....all with the lovely colors that you chose. Hope your mouth feels better soon.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
