Today's challenge was truly a challenge for me because I have exactly 3 stamps in my entire collection that include a girl of any kind (I don't typically use "people" stamps). I dug this one out that I have had for years... Pretty straightforward - colored with copics, added stickles and enamel dots, used stitched rectangle dies. Happy with how it turned out, so I was glad for the challenge even though at first I thought I wouldn't be able to participate. (F4A266) Oh, the inside says, "At least for today, Happy Birthday!" I'm also linking to our tortoise and hare challenge. For a brief shining moment I thought this might be a "hare" card, but alas, it took me my usual 1 1/2 hours. How does that happen?

I LOVED both challenges this week and your card was a fabulous fit for both! Now I have to tell you, I really got a giggle out of the sentiment. Why? My younger sister (by 13 months) thinks it's "always" about her whether it's her birthday or not (just ask her). She even laughs when she says it! She's a pip and your sassy young birthday girl reminds me of the one I love and miss so much (she smiles). Fun, colorful, and wonderfully crafted.
