This week our cards are going to an author who has written some Western books, 2 mysteries, and is a fan Of Louis L'Amour as well. See his story HERE in this week's Tea Party
When I saw "western", all I could think of is the 'hottie cowboy' from SU's Wild Wild West set. Utilized some cowboy styled DP I had, some fringed suede I have been hoarding forever, along with some barbed wire ribbon, and put it all together. Since my image did not use a larger circle like the sketch, I added my tag at the top, but still put a small tag as per the sketch.
Hope Gene likes the cowboy theme, since he ls a fan of Louis L'Amour - And for the rest of you - Welcome to Whykickamoocow, which I understand is located somewhere near JammerTown , where the Wild West Cowboy has his NUMBER 1 Fan Club. Y'all have to check that place out now, ya' hear?
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

"The" MAN. Best. Stamp. Ever! Glad to see him making the rounds again. Love the barbed wire, fringe and brads. Yummy!

Sue - LOVE "Da Man" and your card is GREAT! The neutrals and how you have him framed with the "tack" all around looks awesome. Like the printed paper and the stamped barbed wire ribbon, too. A great card that I'm sure Uncle Gene will appreciate. I never saw the Wild Wild West set until a few yrs ago. It brought back loads of memories of living in the West for over 20 yrs ... oh, and maybe those couple of cowboys I dated. Hee! I knew I had to have the set so I stalked the internet to find an affordable one. As time passed, I found a few for sale but they certainly weren't affordable. I bought one anyway and called it a "hobby investment." Heehee. I do love it and it has a "special" place of it's own in my craft room. Hee. A longer story shorter ... THANK YOU for making this great card for my Uncle! xx
