This is going to be a stretch because, I came across this in the inspiration site and this card started out very browns and browns but, I had started playing with a gelli plate last night so, I have piles of backgrounds ( but, limited colors of paint ( no browns yet) and I decided the card needed contrast anyways, so this was a case of anything within reach got paint on it, including this corrugate that I had used on a different print for texture. the deli paper was applied to the corrugate with the multimedium. And I thought the shape of the medallion mimic's the shapes of the embroidery in the inspiration piece. The sentiment was water colored over the top so the cream was not so stark with the other colors. anyways, thanks for this challenge Audrie. ( and YAY me, no money was spent in there today lol) & tfl.

This is gorgeous! It makes me want to pull out that Medallion stamp again. I love it when someone inspires me to use older stamps; they need love too! Your choice of teal to go with the golden browns was just perfect. Thanks for sharing!
