Card one of four for the April Christmas card challenge to fussy cut Christmas florals. This is the only one of the four that has any fussy cutting.
After stamping the image with Stazon ink and letting it dry, I traced each line of the image with a fairly small stylus so I could see the design on the back of the foiled cs. I turned the piece over and used different sizes of styli to work the paper, similar to the technique used to stretch metal. I was pretty pleased with the result. I fussy cut the poinsettia and added to the card front, which I had covered with white shimmer cs. It is flat to the surface in the center, I added pop dot under the leaves. I added gold nailheads to the center and covered them with Glossy Accents.
The sentiment was cut twice - once from the foil cs and once from 110lb white cs which ha been sandwiched between layers of Stick It adhesive before cutting. I removed the liner from the top of the white die cut and layered the red on top. The liner was removed from the bottom and the pieces adhered to the card.
As always, thanks for looking!
