I rubbed 2 distress inks (Peacock Feathers and Crushed Olive) on my craft mat then spritzed with water. I had white embossed the image on watercolor paper first, then smooshed it face down on the distress inks to create the background. I took a paper towel to wipe off the image before it dried.

Oh Wanda, this is AMAZING!!!!! I LOVE how you created the background....the colors are delicious!!!! Love how you used the eyelet with the tag too....clever!! Fabulous sketch card!!!!

Wow an wow, this is a gorgeous bg. I love this color combo, and the embossed image is beautiful. the twine and bird charm, are perfect accents. Great technique. tfs.
