This is for Joan's fun Technique Lovers Challenge - "The sentiment down under".
I stamped and fussy cut the girl, cut off the tree branch that she normall sits on, then coloured with Distress inks and an aqua pen.....it looked terrible. The cardstock I was using was not my usual smooth white, it seemed to suck up all the inky water.
I started again and didn't use as much water as I usually do. I used a white gel pen to make her pinnie look checkered. Sharpie paint pen for spots. Her hair was done with Copics (don't look too close).
I retrieved the first girl out of the bin and gave her a sex change...quick haircut, bruised head, few stitches, pair of glasses....job done, meet George!
I stamped the wall - cut in half, then adhered it to a black base. I used my white Sharpie paint pen for the sign.
Thank you for looking and have a great week ladies.

Oh my GOODNESS, Susie, what a side splitting story for this card!! Your card making journeys take you to "where no man has been before"!! Love your "wall" with the warning "down under" ! It figures you would come up with a fabulous card for this challenge - after all, you LIVE down under!! Still chuckling over how "George" came to be, and love the way you decorated her pinnie and stockings! Another great masterpiece and prize winning 'novel' !

You are so clever...your use of the challenge is brilliant. I love the detailed coloring you did on the little girls "pinnie"! Typical kids to ignore the warning...this is sure to brings smiles to all that view. LOVE this!
