Kathleen is challenging us to use our resolutions as inspiration for this week's CAS challenge.
One of my (I have several) crafty goals/resolutions is to create more Christmas/Winter cards throughout the year than I did last year. So here's my first Christmas card of 2015, I need four more before February.
To create my background I used the Wrinkle Free Distress technique with TH Distress inks, Broken China and Seedless Preserves.
When staging my card I had to laugh. I have a 12x12 piece of DP that looks just like my background. I guess I could have saved a little work and just cut the DP for the background, but what's the fun in that, right?
Thank you to Brenda for the wonderful tree RAK!
I am adding this to January's Fan Club Christmas challenge found HERE. For January we can choose a past challenge so I decided to choose the first one, "Jan 2012" to use something new. The die cut was my NEW.

I LOVE the background peeking through your winter trees, Angie! This is such a pretty Christmas card. Hint: As a Dirty Girl, you should definitely check out the Fan Club Christmas Card Challenge.

Lovely Winter card with those trees, Angie. Not a bad goal.......to do some every month.
