Squares! Yes, I tried to think up a creative shape, but when I started my monoprint the tool drove my shape. Here's what I did to make this card.
I used a CHA 2015 sneak peek from Stampendous to monoprint multiple layers of Brilliant Yellow Green, Raw Sienna, Light Blue Violet, Purple Red (pink color), Titanium White (Liquitex colors) by painting thinned acrylics onto the larger rectangle Creative Palette and making a print. Then repeating it with different colors. The smallest squares are part of the Creative Palette set as a stamping tool.
To get the ink on my stamps I used a dampened sponge and padded it into a color until it was evenly distributed and you could see the texture of the sponge. Pad the paint onto the stamps and then press onto your paper. Wash right after so it doesn't have a chance to dry on the stamp, but scrubbing it with an old clean toothbrush with soap and water will take off any dried paint.
We sure hope you'll take advantage of this challenge. It would be perfect for the {heart} cards you need to make.
You can get the supplies list and step by step instructions on my blog at Rain Puddles Design.

I love it when the design insists on its own self! Awesome expression. I can tell this card came together easily - it's got a great flow. Happy colors, happy energy, happy message!
