CONGRATS to Ann (Dockside) our new FS this week! She has a fab gallery! I found a lot of inspiration, including this card which inspired mine. I kept the blue/brown, used different stamps, made it a one layer instead of a three layer. As well, I was inspired by this card at Stampscapes, yesterday's IC site.
With my IO and MFT stamps, I stamped four layers of Ranger distress ink for the bkgrd. I stamped the trees in Ranger distress vintage photo. Over the top, I stamped the trees a little more to the right in SU kraft white to get the "snow" outline I was going for but alas, it doesn't show. :( I tried to do the outline by hand with my new Ranger, white, picket fence pen but it won't write on either nib, it's dried out w/no ink coming out. :( Note that I bought it new in Nov and stored it horizontally as recommended. I have also had this same problem with other of their distress markers but mainly the fine nib side. Anyway ... my white Signo pen (which I can't live w/o) just ran out last week. So ... b4 I send this card I will get the "snow" outline on the trees one way or another ... hee.
Thanks for looking!

This is really pretty snow or not! Isn't that frustrating when you try to do something and everything seems to go against you? At least you didn't give up.

Beautiful card - I love the IO stamp, and you created a fabulous background behind it!

Great case From Ann's card. I have had the same problem with my white pens and markers lately. I just threw both my white pens away. Hope you get your snow on there how you want it. But the card is very pretty just the way it is.
