Becky is our hostess this week, and she has selected a lovely color combination of Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow. The dessert option is dry embossing.
I decided to create a card that could actually be used for a bride, full of flowers. For the dessert option (I always have to have dessert!), I tried the new-to-me Belleek Inspired Technique created by Kittie Caracciolo. (Click on the link to see a description of the technique.) It was very easy to do, and I really like the result, the background softened a little with light pink ink.
For the Flower, I cut four flowers from the smallest flower on the Fun Flowers die, then used the Faux Suede technique to separate the layers and create 8 flowers. I sponged both sides of each layer and then put them together with a big, pink brad.
Thanks for stopping by. Please come and join us and make a card (or other project) using this week's colors.

What a lovely card! I love that lush beautiful flower and its stem of little blossoms! These are indeed perfect wedding colours. Your background is scrumptious! I've forgotten about that technique. Thanks for the reminder! Gorgeous card!
