I wish I could tell you how this all started, but all I know is that I took Impression Obsessions pumpkin pair stamp, a mask and the rest just happened.
Since our teapotter theme is 'pumpkins' and Impression Obsessions challenge is 'Shades of Fall', I decided to combine both and make a fun little diorama. Even thought I had to fight the urge to grab the shotgun as soon as I stuck those little rascals in the truck.
I don't care much for squirrels. They're rats, people. RATS. Seriously. I HATED when my grandpa shot squirrels...whether it was squirrel and dumplins, fried squirrel with gravy, or whatever....I despised the taste and no matter how clean a shot it was, I always ended up with pieces of shot in mine.
NOTE: Don't think I haven't wondered about the lead I ingested from the sqrirrels and rabbits I ate growing up. It would explain a lot. A LOT.
But I have to admit that the paper ones are cute and I can live with them driving a truck through the pumpkin field. I've got some great stories on the way....from my one night stand with resin, to my speech I've been rehearsing for Judgement Day...stay tuned! You NEVER know when I'll throw off the sloth and put a little effort into something more than my incessant whining. HAH!

LOL great card, caught my eye right away..and I do mean my eye as I had surgery and can only see with one eye! But my story is not as good as yours. Squirrels roam our town like a zoo! ..lol... Love what you did with your card@

I was "strolling through the teapotter gallery" and your bright pumpkins caught my eye. Such a great card and wonderful story. Once, in a national park with my kids, a squirl stole my son's sandwich...ran right up his leg and grabbed it. I was left with a crying child and a nasty park ranger yelling at me "to stop feeding the squirls". Yours are so cute driving the truck...such creativity.

Oh - FUN - now you've got the squirrels taking over the family truck - rusty and all - and heading through the fields - well, as long as they stay away from my porch!
Love your diorama - great scene with the field full of pumpkins - you sure know how to use those grass and wheat dies for all they are worth!! Your sky and popped up clouds are cool too! WTG, girl!!

Carmen, this is so fun! Love the pumpkins, your awesome coloring, and the fact that you can pretend to like squirrels that are driving a truck in the field even though you hate them - LOL! I feel the same way about mice - they are disgusting but they are darn cute on cards. Hugz - a million of them.
