I had this sweet image colored and sitting on my desk since early Tuesday morning, and I had plans to finish it for the Color Challenge. But we had a medical emergency with my DH and spent most of that day in the doctor's office and the imaging center. He has a large hematoma and is now elevating his leg most of the day and is feeling a little better thankfully.
So I decided to combine this card with today's Featured Stamper, Annette Allen (Clever creations). I chose her card "Peppermint Twist" because the red stripes captured me - it's darling! Annette has a lovely gallery, and I'm so glad I was able to browse through it today. Congratulations, Annette, on being this week's Featured Stamper!
I kept my card simple and used the red stripes for my background, matted with red. I made my focal image square instead of a circle, and used some red jute under the image. This is my first card using Lili of the Valley images, and I can't wait to use some others I've ordered. (P. S. Lili of the Valley is SCS's newest Platinum Partner, and they offer free shipping worldwide!)
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like this cute little pair! Have a wonderful week!

This image is so wonderfully adorable. So glad you introduced me to this company! Great coloring, love the red/white striped paper, and the little red bow ties it all up perfectly!

Cheryl, I've loved your cards from the first time I saw them. You say you've kept this simple. My friend, there's magic in your simple, and it comes in a top hat, smile, and a heart hug as big as the sky! Beautifully colored and set in a layout fit for a cuddly bear and sweet snowman.

Totally adorable LOTV stamp and you have coloured it beautifully. This card is just so crisp and bright and the addition of the little string bow is delightful.
