hi there,
Congrats to Annette Allen aka Clever Creations, for being the FS today. I haven't seen much of your great gallery before but saw this watercolour card that inspired me: To the Moon & Back by Clever creations at Splitcoaststampers
Instead of watercolouring, I sponged my bkg. using Distress inks. I had my snowflake die sitting on my desk, so I attached it to my acrylic block using some temporary adhesive, sprayed it with water and stamped onto my cardstock. The water reacts with the ink leaving a frosty looking snowflake behind. I also ran my paintbrush along the edge of my sponged piece to create a border. I then die cut another snowflake from white cs and mounted it into the corner instead of adding the twine Annette had on the original card.
Also adding my card to the Hope Floats gallery....snowflakes float down from the sky in winter right?
thanks for looking,

Love the way you did this! Thanks for explaining that you stamped with water - I couldn't tell how you did it just by looking at it. Such a neat effect!
