HYCCT1424 = Robin's challenge to use a resist technique. The technique I used combined well with the MIX challenge for today.
MIX91 = "Ghostly Outlines" using resist techniques, etc. I used a technique where I stamp on GLOSSY CS with VM...add NO EP, and heat set. I then sponge on color and what had been stamped with VM begins to faintly appear. It is much subtler than the regular embossing resist where EP is involved. The technique is called "Ghosting" and Beate's tutorial is HERE.
QFTD233 = Lois(clownmom). Lois has been a stalwart of SCS for a LONG time and has a gallery of almost 4,000 cards. She participates almost daily in the challenges and leaves comments for many. I chose this lovely CARD since I really liked her layout with focus on her forest image. Mine is a bit simpler and now a pink Christmas card.
Congratulations, Lois....a LONG overdo honor!!

Such a great technique with a fabulous result. So very pretty.

AMAZING that you got all these challenges into one card, Sallie! I like all the different shades of pink and the techniques you've used create a nice texture to this monochromatic Christmas card! Beautiful~
