Hello all,
I wanted to do this faux marble technique of Birgit's and boy, I didn't want to cover it up! I loved how it turned out!!...my image was bigger but I tore it down to as small as I could so as not to cover up the bg. And It has birds too! Hee!
I wanted to do another card for the bird challenge and I really would like to do another one with die cuts this time but DH will be home soon so I don't think that will happen!!
Anyway, I used chalk on the torn edges in sparkly blue and I used some chunky EP with an iron to make more snow than just the few flakes that were left after tearing!!
I will have to do this faux marble again..it is so pretty!
Thanks for looking!

Love, love this! A snowman and birds - two of the things I think it would never be possible (budget and space permitting) to have too many of. And yes, I agree - when I've put time and effort into creating a background I always cover up as little as possible .
Your background is so eye catching, I had to take a 2nd and 3rd look! I love the image. Look at how happy that snowman is for sharing his space with the birds! Precious!
