Fab challenge, Sabrina! I'm definitely feeling more like using autumn colours and found the backing paper (I think it's from First Edition) which has leaves on it, although they are probably a bit too green to be properly autumnal.
I have a couple of owl dies but it always seems to easy, somehow! So, a square and a circle punch made the body shape which didn't look quite right until I'd cut out the notch in the head between the eyes. I wish I'd realised that a fine point Sharpie isn't as fine as I'd thought but it was too late to stop at that stage.

Love every thing about this card. Your owl is charming and your background paper is just perfect and your layout compliments every element of your card. It's just perfect.

What a sweet card. I just love how you created your little owl sitting on your branch and the background paper with the leaves is just perfect. Thanks Di for the nice comment on my card in the tea party challenge MMTPT322 "Without rain, there would be no rainbow". Have you ever thought about joining in the tea parties?. Your cards are so refreshing and you have so much talent. It is fun to get tickled on the last Tuesday of the month, when we receive a card from a fellow tea party goer. It is also fun to make a card and send it off to bring a little smile to someone else the other weeks. It would sure be fun to have more punch art at the tea parties also. LOL. gail
