This is a birthday card for our 17-year-old grandson. I used the anchor from Anchor the Soul, colored it and added the sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments. I used ODBD's Christian Faith Collection paper pad, sponged and pierced (how can I resist - hehe!), and added the Pennant Swag die with sponging and brads and finally added some burlap and pearl cotton. I can hardly believe he's going to start driving soon! Be careful anyone who lives in NJ - ha! Praying he will be careful and safe! Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it!
Wow! Cheryl, I totally missed this one, I love hanging out in the favorites thread as it helps me see so many beauties I missed. This is soooo gorgeous in every way! PERFECTION!!!!

Absolutely stunning my friend! Beautiful coloring and layout, and I know your grandson will love it! I know how you feel about him driving! My 16 y/o already has his lisence and a truck of his own. I had to just commit that whole deal to the Lord in prayer since I could drive myself crazy with worry about those curvy mountain roads and all the dangers there are! Love your card as always Cheryl!

A stunning card, Cheryl. I love that image and it reminds me of the song, The Anchor Holds. Oh, I know it is maddening when they start driving. I will never forget the day my boys left in a car by themselves after getting their license.

Thank goodness I am all the way in Canada...lol...sorry couldnt resist...:0).
It is funny how different it is on the flip side of driving. Now I know how my parent s felt. Our young son hasnt learned yet, just taking his written, then Will be on the same page as you. Your grandson will be fine though. Good teachers...:0)
He will just LOVE this too. Beautiful colors and coloring, and love the touch of pearls on your flags....wow time flies with our kids and as for you grandkids doesnt it...17...wish him the best...:0)

Wow, I love this beautiful card. The blue and the burlap look so good together. Fab coloring, as always. I like the image, but since I have the last set with an anchor, I am undecided on getting this one. Your tempting me.
