I'd just finished making this card when Jeanne's challenge came up - appropriate for a one/two word challenge as I'd already decided just to put this sweet lady's name on it - our dear 86 year old neighbour lost her husband several months ago and this is her first birthday without him in 56 years. I went down to ask her if I could take her out for tea, and she said "I'm not celebrating my birthday this year." So it didn't seem right to make a "happy" birthday card. Thankfully she agreed to get out of the house, she said it would help "put the time in". This is a departure from the style I've been using lately, back to die-cuts! The name has been computer generated.

Kindness is a virtue. Let us project the character of Christ so others may know. I believe you did just that for your neighbor. How truly kind of you, Bridget. I know your card and having tea meant a lot to her.
