Today's challenge was a real challenge as I don't have any maps and only 2 pieces of dp with maps on it all my stash!! It seems impossible with all the paper I have!!
I chose to showcase a quote that I have really grown to understand this summer. "Life's roughest storms prove the strength of our anchors." This summer has been especially challenging to me with my limited abilities and all my pain after my accident this past May. It is during the tough times of life that we realize how strong our faith is. I am so thankful for a God who is much stronger than I to carry me through the tough times. Hope is my anchor!!
This quote is from the Anchor the Soul stamp set at ODBD to be released tomorrow, August 1.
Although this card is more CAS, I had so much fun joining Linda's challenge. Thanks for looking!!

I'm glad your were able to find those scraps of map DP, Chris, and add this lovely card to the WT gallery along with the inspiring and encouraging verse. Just last weekend I met an old friend I hadn't seen for year - we visited him a couple fo times a week during a period when he was in hospital after a breakdown, and he has certainly proved the truth of this verse as he has been fully redeemed and restored from all he went through. I know your Anchor will hold you safe through this too.

Oh, Chris, this really is beautiful and so rich!! You really made one gorgeous masculine card! Yes, it's been such a hard summer and such a difficult time for you, and I totally agree that God has been your Anchor and will continue to give you strength and hope!! Praise God!! Praying that you heal well and quickly and that you are encouraged, my dear and precious friend!

Chris, this is beautiful. I love the collage you created wih the many scraps of CS. And I love the sentiment. I can relate to it as well. I am so sorry to hear of your accident. I did not know, and I certainly hope you begin feeling better soon. Will pray for God's healing and His strength.
