I spent today in oncology with my mom. The nurses were all very nice. I wonder if people really realize how much a little kindness means. It can mean a huge difference and what a better place this world would be if more people tried to express it. Quite often it doesn't even mean spending a whole lot of extra time. I think most of the people on this web site get that. Thanks for letting me express my feelings.

How beautifully expressed, Kim, and I couldn't agree with you more. I'm sorry about your Mom's condition, and hope the docs can work their magic for her. Your card is just beautiful!

Kim, you brought tears to my eyes...I wish I could give you and your mom a hug. When I went through chemo my kids were 5 and 6 and my husband had to work, so I went alone. Luckily the other patients and nurses were so nice. Find comfort in the knowledge that you are such a comfort to your mom. Your card is beautiful...you can tell that it comes from the heart. If it's not an intrusion, please pm me your address so I can send your mom my own "thinking of you" card. Prayers to you both.

Sounds like you and your Mom are going through some rough times right now. God bless you both and the wonderful nurses who give so much. This is a beautiful card and what a wonderful sentiment!
