Hello everyone! Cathy gave us a fun challenge this morning... Tantalizing Texture! We were to add at least 3 forms of texture to our card.
I used dry embossing, burlap, distressed edges, twine, rolled ribbon rose, popped up panels.
The banner is from this month's ODBD release and is called Pennant Swag Alphabet. I stamped the letters to the word CELEBRATE and punched out with my 1/4" circle punch. I die cut the banner from some of the pretty dp in the Blushing Rose pack, and added the letters to it. I embossed each layer of my card with a different pattern, embossed the mat layer for my sentiment, which is one of the ones already printed out for you in the paper pack. I added twine to my banner and a rolled ribbon rose. Card lies flat (almost) for mailing since the ribbon is so sheer.
Thanks for looking and thanks for a fun challenge Cathy!

Just beautiful, Grace. I love your pretty flower and I've been admiring all the pretty pennants you ODBD girls are using. May mean an online shopping trip.

Wow, Grace, this is just beautiful! I LOVE that pretty rose DP you used and the square embossing on the back panel! The pennant is neat and I love the layered sentiment!

What a wonderful shabby chic creation, Grace! The ribbon rose is just beautiful, a wonderful embellishment to add the crowning glory to a beautiful card. The embossed DP is especially effective, it's something I rarely think to do.
