This is my card for CC486. Barbara is our hostess and her challenge colors are: old olive, calypso coral and daffodil delight.
Dessert option is to make a fancy fold card. I decided to go with an easel card. Tutorial here. I havenÂ’t made one in a long time so thanks Barbara for the push.
This is the open view of card.
My images and sentiments are from the Waltzingmouse set “half pint heroines”. I stamped the image and colored with the new SU blendabilities in old olive and daffodil delight. My calypso coral color is a Copic marker. I then fussy cut the image to place in the scene.
My outdoor scene was created with a combo of Cheery Lynn Designs, MFT, and PaperTreyInk dies. I made this card for a graduation party we are going to this weekend. My thought process for the scene is the graduate leaving her home for college. Hence, the houses, hills and hot air balloon.
ThatÂ’s my card for this week. Hope you can play along with us. You may be the next color challenge favorite and have your card featured on our Pinterest board. here.

Wow - what a gorgeous card using this week's colours. This scene you've created is adorable and I love the "thought process" behind it. Thanks for sharing that. A beautiful work of art.
