This is my submission for two challenges. It is for today's F4A to use a wee bit of vellum, and to honor our Queen #214, Nancy, aka stiz2003. I cased this beautufl card
I used Nancy's beautiful layout, but did not attempt to watercolor but instead decided to combine my rose image from the June ODBD release set, My Friend with today's WT challenge to use vellum. I have never tried real parchment craft before and yes, I can use a LOT of improvement! However it was fun working the vellum to give the depth and dimension you get when you hand emboss on the back side once you have stamped your image on the front. I used Distress Markers to just lightly add a little color but mostly the shading is all done by embossing. I also had never cut an image out with a piercer, and again I need a lot of practice, and better eyes... to get my lacy edge just perfectly even, but I still like how it came out. I stamped the sentiment from the new Rose set onto my dp, then embossed it with a partial ef by Darice. My beading is done very randomly with a double metallic thread and some seed beads.
Nancy, congratulations on being chosen this week's Queen! You are so deserving! Every card in your gallery inspires me, so thank you for sharing your talents with us and I hope in some small way this honors your card, even though no where near as beautiful!
Thanks so much for looking!!!

Grace, this is so beautiful. I remember her beading card and how I loved it. I have to do that, sometime.

Grace, this is fantastic and thank you SO much for sharing a new technique. That rose just knocked my socks off. I have not heard of cutting with a piercing tool nor have I hand embossed. They are now on my must do list! Wow, this is beautiful and I love how the embossing shades the rose! Thank you SO much, Grace, for this honor!

There are many beautiful elements to this card. Love the embossed panel. Your vellum rose is stunning.....for the first time trying peragamo you did an amazing job. The beading puts it over the top. Fav'd tfs
