Ally gave us a lovely sketch that was in a square format. I changed it to an A2 and in doing so made her circle into an oval for better proportions.
The oval was stamped with a backgrounder design using London Fog ink. I thought it was too strong and gave it a wash of gesso to tone it down. The rest is pretty straightforward.

Black and white can be challenging but you certainly had no trouble creating an exquisite sympathy card! Love the background stamp on your silhouette and what a great idea to tone it down with gesso. I always forget about that one. Beautiful card Sallie!
