For today's IC challenge - loads of wonderful inspiration and I never got beyond the wall art.
This Garden Window was my inspiration.
Today is one of those days when everything that can go wrong is. My eclairs rose beautifully and then fell a little so they don't look like they should. The buns I made for some burgers rose beautifully and tasted great but weren't as soft as they should have been...So, when on the third time of stamping, with a SAMJ, the sentiment still looks crooked, I gave up.
Stamped the brick wall with Pumice Stone. Stamped the sentiment with black. Stamped Baroque Motifs in green for the rose. I inked just the hyacinth from Vivid Vases for the flowers along the bottom of the wall (which should get me in for this week's F4A to use something new and unused, LOL). Roses punched from scraps from a failed one-layer card. I distressed the windowframe and shutters heavily with ink and white acrylic. Put it all together and it looked a bit - flat, bleah... Adding the little grey cat in the window just seemed to add enough more dimension.
I still don't really like it, but I hope my sister will. I don't have time to start all over again.

Oh Sabrina - love the vines and flowers!! The window with the kitty is as cute as can be! That brick background really makes the card pop too!!
