I only had to color my flower twice before I was very happy with the blending. I used my extra as another layer behind my main flower. I stamped a 3rd time and colored the center of the flower, fussy cut and added colored pearls. Loved how it turned out. I stamped off the leaf and then colored so the black Memento ink was much lighter and colored with my O. Olive alcohol markers. Worked pretty well.

Oh Nancy, this is just outstanding!!! Your coloring is beautiful and I LOVE the flower with the burlap ribbon! I like the idea of being able to color pearls and rhinestones with the new markers!

Your coloring gives the rose such depth. So does the way you added the raised center with the small pearls. I like the contrast of the soft image of the rose with the use of the rough burlap.
